Download InsertIt for macOS.

Install

  1. Download InsertIt-0.1.1.dmg.
  2. Open the downloaded DMG.
  3. Drag InsertIt into Applications.
  4. Open InsertIt from Applications.
  5. Turn on the permissions for the features you use. Accessibility enables paste back; folder access enables screenshot import.

macOS asks at the moment a feature needs access.

Accessibility

Allows InsertIt to paste a selected history item back into the app you were using.

Automation

macOS may ask when InsertIt sends a paste command to another app.

Screenshot folder access

Needed only if you enable screenshot import and choose a folder for InsertIt to watch.

Start at Login

Optional. Starts InsertIt when you sign in so new copies are captured from the beginning of your Mac session.
